Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 04, 2018

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit (the “Site”).

Quin&Perin is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors of the Site, subscribers to our newsletters, and those providing contact information. In addition, Quin&Perin is opposed to unauthorized commercial e-mail delivery, otherwise known as spam. Please read the following Privacy and Spam Policy to understand how your personal information is treated.

Quin&Perin uses Mailchimp as its e-mail service provider. Mailchimp collects contact information, distributes our newsletter, and tracks actions you take that assist us in measuring the performance of our newsletters.

If you choose to sign up for Quin&Perin's newsletter, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing information and updating subscribers only. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. You may opt-out of future e-mail communications by following the unsubscribe links in our e-mails. You may also notify us at to be removed from our mailing list.

Quin&Perin is strongly opposed to spam. We will only send e-mail to readers that have explicitly requested to receive an e-mail from Quin&Perin. Examples may include:

  • Opt-in subscribers to the Quin&Perin Newsletter

  • Users that complete a contact form

  • All communication will be related and relevant to what you have requested.

Personal Information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit

“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

However, these Device Information will not be used by anyone other than Quin&Perin or Squarespace, our web provider.

Do Not Track

Some internet browsers have incorporated "Do Not Track" features. Most of these features, when turned on, send a signal or preference (the "DNT Signal") to the web sites you visit indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret DNT Signals, nor a common definition of "tracking", we do not currently respond to DNT Signals on the Site. Quin&Perin works with third parties (“marketing tools”) through which information collected about the pages you visit on the Site is used to help us create a better user experience for people visiting the Site. See “Sharing your Personal Information” below for a deeper insight.

Sharing your Personal Information

The marketing tools we use allow us to look at aggregated data such as scrolling patterns and clicks. However, your personally identifiable information is not used by any of these tools.

We use Squarespace to run the Site --you can read more about how Squarespace uses your Personal Information as well as Device Information here: Privacy Policy.

We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site--you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: Privacy Policy.  You can also opt-out of Google Analytics here.

Legal Disclaimer

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
